  • From the Airports
    • From Oslo Airport Gardermoen (recomended)

      • The recommended way of getting to the city center is by the Airport Express Train to the "Oslo Central Station". This is a 20 minutes ride and costs 160 NOK (student fee 80 NOK).
      • Alternatives:
        • Local Trains 30 minutes, 85 NOK. Not as frequent departures as the Airport Express Train. Check the information desk for departure times.
        • Taxi: most taxi companies have a fixed price (approximately 600-800 NOK) to the city center. Ask the driver before entering the car.
        • Bus (Flybuss Ekspressen): Specially if you stay at hotel Gyldenløve then it will be a good alternative to take the bus F1-Majorstuen to the end station (160 NOK, 1h).
    • From Torp Airport
      • Take the bus directly to Oslo (approx 2h), or take the bus to Sandefjord and a train from Sandefjord to Oslo. Ask at the information desk for time tables.
  • How to find the conference building (Forskningsparken/Informatics building)

    NWPT and NODES are held in the Research Park building (``Forskningsparken'') in the ``Forum'' auditorium (2. floor).
    FLACOS is held in the Informatics Building in the first floor auditorium (``Lille Auditorium'')

    To get there take one of the following subway lines to Blindern station, and follow the map below from there.
    • Line 3-Sognsvann
    • Line 4-Ringen
    • Line 5-Storo

  • Accommodation

    All prices are for one night in a single room.
    • Hotels

      We get a discount at Thon Hotels. When booking, press the "Do you have a company agreement?" button and enter the discount code "UNIOSL". Avoid the hotel "Linne" as it is outside the city center.
      Note: if the above code does not work with the online booking than please contact the hotel directly by phone and there you give the discount code.

      • Thon Hotel Gyldenløve (850 NOK) This hotel is further away from the city center, but closer to the conference building. Here is a description on how to get from this hotel to Blindern subway station. To get from Blindern subway station to the conference building just follow the map above.
